Today’s blog post is a little different, I’ve put together a video tutorial (instead of just written instructions!) to show you how to make your own monogrammed desktop background/wallpaper/screensaver for your computer, laptop, iPad, tablet or iPhone!
This is one of the first video tutorials I’ve filmed so please forgive me if I say ‘umm ‘a few too many times, I was a little nervous! Also, if my accent sounds a little funny it’s probably because I’m Australian 🙂
Other ways to customise your wallpaper
- Add your name instead of a monogram
- Add clipart to the circle instead of a letter (a good place to find this is Etsy)
- Add a quote
- Add a photo over the top of the background
- Or leave the background as is!
If you like the wallpaper I made in the video, you can download it by right clicking the image below and choosing ‘save as’ – you can then open the image in Canva and add your own monogram, name or other wording of your choice:
The font I used in the video was called ‘Playfair Small Caps’
This wallpaper is downloadable for your personal use only – please do not share, re-sell, giveaway or claim as your own – NO commercial use allowed. Please post a link back to this blog post if you would like to share this printable – you may NOT offer it as a free download on your own blog – this download is (C) AllAboutTheHouse.
For instructions on how to set the wallpaper as your background see this blog post. If you’ve made one for your iPhone, save the photo to your iPhone, click on the image then choose ‘set as wallpaper’
